Tyre Vulcanising process
Tyre vulcanising is a process we use to repair damaged tyres by adding new rubber to it. We’ll mould new rubber into the damaged area, then put the tyre into a vulcanising machine to fuse the new rubber with the old tyre. After this process a reinforcing patch is fitted to the inside of the tyre and its ready to be fitted back to your vehicle. This process can take about two days.
So before you throw away your damaged tyre, bring them into Goodyear Auto Care Gisborne and we’ll see what we can do.
